Nepal Oral Health Charity Project
Last November, Dr.Nepali lead a dental project with a team of 12 dental personnel from the United Kingdom to go to the remote mountains to help treat the poor people who have no access to dental health care. They visited remote outreach centres where over 1200 people were treated in just 4 days.
Additionally, the UK team has been working closely with Kathmandu University and have set up an educational course certified by the postgraduate institute of Newcastle University to train up local paramedics who will therefore be able to provide better long term care in the rural areas of Nepal.
This is a long term project during which trips to Nepal will be continuing in the years to come and our practices along with other dental practices involved will continue to raise charitable donations to help the poor people of Nepal.
